At the tail end of October in 2014, we visited the vast, and somewhat isolated, north-west of Australia and had the absolute time of our lives. Our days were filled with exploring ancient mountain ranges, gorges, waterfalls and grasslands, while the temperature sat in the mid-40s before the dry season broke with monsoons. The Kimberley is a place I will always hold dear, and whenever I'm feeling overwhelmed in the city I think back to the horizon to horizon view of wide, open space and all is well again.
